It was AWESOME
..... what a great day the weather was
perfect, and WE WERE ALL BLESSED TO BE A
PART OF THIS DAY. Thank you
A Harley Angel. |
|
It was
exciting! Especially not having to worry
about traffic!
More portapotties are needed at the parking
lot!!!!!
The end of the ride was a little confusing
as we were in the middle and saw lots of
bikes coming back on the other side of the
road and wondered what was happening. We
eventually realized they just weren't going
to Pelican Junction.
We look forward to next year's ride!

MORE
PORTACANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jim Hudgens
answer: Thanks Jim. That
seems to be a common thread here. |
We rode yesterday in the “Ridin for the
Rose” and certainly had a wonderful
time. This is certainly the most
organized ride I have ever been on. We
had friends which this was their first
time riding “Ridin for the Rose” and had
a wonderful time as well. We hope to
continue to ride each year for such a
wonderful cause.

Good ride.
How many motorcycles were riding this year?
Leslie
answer: official "Troll"
count was 611. There were over 800
registered participants! |

I ride the
bike that proudly flies the Harley's Angels
flag that was graciously donated to our
organizaton by Dr. Sam Hassenbusch and his
wonderful family. This was my third "Ride
for the Rose" to have participated in and I
have to say that each one gets better and
better. Thank you to everyone that works so
hard in putting this together!!! The money
that is raised for the Marnie Rose
foundation is the icing on the cake for that
day!

Very nice
turn out. Well organized and plenty of
breakfast for everyone. We could use a few
more porta john's next year and they have
been promised! It was a great day and a very
good cause.

WHAT A FANTASTIC RIDE! It was
my second year to participate. I can't wait
until next year's ride!!!! Mrs. H was such a
delight to chat with when she stopped by to
thanks the Harley's Angels for
participating. I met Dr. Sam last year -
what a great loss, I miss him.

It was a beautiful day for a
ride for a good cause!
Great to see friends. The Police did a great
job as well as SJHR! Only thing I would
change is more porta pottys and more t.p.
Other than that, everyone did an excellent
job!
Woohoo!!!
Met some great new folks too... You know who
YOU are! ;-)
** If you were there, you deserve a great
big pat on the back!!! **

This ride was my first
official ride as an Honorary San Jacinto
HighRoller with the Liberty County Chapter,
it was also my first "BIG" ride after my
arrival to Texas. I just have to say what a
wonderful day it was, and the ride was great
also! I also would like to say thank you to
those who allowed the HighRollers to do the
roadguard and I was honored to be part of
such a worthy cause. You will see me every
year!
